Kendal Outreach and Hebrew SeniorLife Bring Pioneering Organizations Together to Create and Implement Wellness Assessment Tools

Kendal and Hebrew Senior Life Institute of Aging Research of Massachusetts have formed a consortium of nearly 50 not-for-profit continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) to participate in the use and refinement of a computerized suite of valid and reliable assessment tools. These assessments have been developed by interRAI, a non-profit organization of researchers which was founded to improve the lives of elderly, frail or disabled individuals through the use of quality assessment practices.
The Collage assessments will be used to track outcomes and improve services and care for residents of CCRCs and other senior housing settings, to implement evidence based programs, and to contribute data to a national database for the purpose of making comparative reports to consortium members. Collage is accepting new members. To learn more, visit the Collage website and join us for a free web cast.
